Victorian House Plans

When most people think about a Victorian home, it is actually the Queen Anne style that originated in the late 1800's. Queen Anne style was named after Queen Victoria of England. These homes reflected the ability and freedom to add elaborate details and decorations to the homes fascade with steep roof pitches, turrets, dormers, towers, bays, eyebrow windows and porches with turned posts and decorative railings. Most have the "gingerbread" ornamentations with fish scale shingles and a variety of exterior colors.
