Copyright Statement

All plans are protected by U.S. Federal Copyright Laws. A license agreement is required. Those built without a license agreement infringe the copyright and are punishable in Federal Court by fines of up to $100,000 per violation. It is not permitted to copy any part of the original design to create another design, claim copyright on changes made (if applicable), give a plan to another for construction purposes, or sell the plan.

Please note that all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges can be given once your order has been fulfilled or once we have begun to modify a plan to your specifications. All orders are fulfilled within one business day of our office confirming your order. Please allow up to 10 days for ground shipping. All plans are designed in accordance with applicable local codes in affect at the time of the creation of the designs. The codes under which the plans were designed are those in force in the designer's local region. The customer is responsible to ensure compliance with local building codes. Local building jurisdictions may require Lateral Analysis or other engineering services. These services are often best handled by those familiar with your local codes and requirements. Only qualified personnel should undertake any revisions. Distinctive House Plans assumes no liabilities for changes or modifications made to plans by others.

All construction plans ordered through Distinctive House Plans are provided as-is and Distinctive House Plans disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness of purpose. Construction plans may not be returned for credit and/or refund under any circumstances. Distinctive House Plans is not liable for incidental, special, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, loss of anticipated profits, business opportunity, or other economic loss arising out of the use of services or any construction plans received from Distinctive House Plans even if Distinctive House Plans has been advised of the possibility of such damage. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy, compliance with applicable statute or regulation, and fitness of purpose of any plans or construction information received from Distinctive House Plans prior to use thereof. In the event any liability is imposed on Distinctive House Plans, Distinctive House Plans's liability to you or any third party shall not exceed the price paid for Distinctive House Plans' product.
